Chapter 684: Hell’s Giant!
“Hank is my secret weapon I specially brought in from Nevada. These hands of his can slap a brown bear unconscious! Those two Dragon Country boys combined don’t even weigh half as much as him. This is free money!” Rossi boasted.
Miles stared at Rossi for a few seconds, finally nodding. “Fine, Hell’s Angels will match another five million.”
Rossi was overjoyed and immediately shouted toward Liu Yutong’s side: “Jess, and that rich Oriental chick, we’re matching! Fifteen million dollars!”
The entire venue erupted once again!
The stakes once again soared to over twenty million US dollars—a figure that exceeded many gangs’ entire annual income, enough to drive anyone mad.
Liu Yutong merely nodded slightly, signaling to Jess beside her.
Jess had now completely staked his life and future on Liu Yutong. With his great-grandmother backing him, what did he have to fear?
He immediately shouted across: “Since you’re putting up fifteen million, I’ll add another five million. A thirty-million-dollar bet, locked in!”
“Excellent! You’ve got balls!”
Rossi could already see golden dollars waving at him. If he won this round, he could recover at least half of his previous losses.
“So Jess, hurry up and have your Black and White Fiends pick someone to fight! I can’t wait to see Hank teach them what it means that all struggles are futile before absolute power!”
“Hahahaha…”
The gang members below started heckling too.
“Get in there! Let’s see if the Black and White Fiends can withstand one slap from Hank.”
“Getting cold feet? You were tough in the earlier fights, but now you can’t handle a real challenger?”
“Hah, probably already weak in the knees just looking at Hank’s hands!”
“Stop stalling, hurry up!”
“…”
However, Yun Cheng and Chu Yang’s actions greatly surprised them.
Under everyone’s gaze, Yun Cheng and Chu Yang actually walked off the cage without hesitation.
The gang members in the gym were all dumbfounded.
“Huh?”
“Why are they coming down?”
“Giving up?”
“Actually scared?”
“No fucking way! Are the Black and White Fiends fleeing before the battle?”
“Hahaha… scared shitless by Steamroller Hank after all!”
“Seems like Steamroller’s reputation is more fearsome than the Black and White Fiends!”
“Jess is screwed this time—money’s down, but his fighters ran off.”
“Hahaha…….”
“…”
Seeing this, Rossi laughed even more triumphantly: “Look! Look at the ‘experts’ you hired! Is this the courage of you Dragon Country people? Running with tails between your legs at the sight of a real powerhouse? Jess, and that Oriental chick, if you concede now, maybe I’ll let you save some face, hahaha…”
Jess watched Yun Cheng and Chu Yang walk back. Though he knew his great-grandmother must have a plan, he couldn’t help feeling anxious.
Could they really be scared? Had his great-grandmother just been trying to scare off the opponents with a high bet?
Liu Yutong ignored them and instead asked Yun Cheng and Chu Yang with some concern: “Are you two okay? Are you hurt badly?”
Yun Cheng and Chu Yang shook their heads simultaneously. “Young Mistress, we’re fine.”
Still uneasy, Liu Yutong said to Su Mansu: “Find a few good doctors.”
She knew these two guys didn’t want to go to the hospital because they wanted to watch the upcoming match, so she’d find some doctors to come examine and bandage them.
Su Mansu: “Yes, boss!”
Yun Cheng and Chu Yang felt a warm surge in their hearts. The Young Mistress still cared so much about them—first asking about their injuries, then getting doctors… they were ready to die for her!
After briefly tending to them, Liu Yutong finally turned to look at the tall figure in the cage.
Her red lips parted slightly.
“For this round, we’re switching fighters.”
At these words, the entire venue was stunned.
Switch fighters?
Who else could they switch to?
You have someone who can stand up to Steamroller Hank?
Don’t be ridiculous!
Those black-clad men under your command look capable, but they’re probably not even as strong as the Black and White Fiends. Bringing them up would just be sending them to slaughter.
Could there be someone else?
While everyone wondered and speculated.
Liu Yutong slowly spoke a name: “Ji Yu! Come out!”
For some reason, this call gave people a strange feeling—she didn’t seem to be calling a person’s name, but rather casting an incantation, using a spell to awaken a primordial beast that had been sleeping for ages.
Speak of the devil.
Suddenly!
BANG!!!
The gym’s main door let out a thunderous crash and practically exploded open, making everyone jump.
When they saw the figure standing behind the door, all sound instantly vanished, leaving only extreme shock in their eyes.
That was a human they had never seen before! A human of extraordinary size!
When this human bent down to enter the gym, everyone suddenly felt the word “giant” become tangible.
This tall man with Eastern features was clearly over 2.1 meters in height—he could even reach up and grab the second-floor railing.
The last time they’d seen a man this tall had been on a basketball court, and that giant had also been from Dragon Country.
But that wasn’t the most shocking part.
When this giant began unfastening his oversized black suit and shirt, just as Yun Cheng and Chu Yang had done earlier, a scalp-numbing sense of oppression swept over them.
A body forged from steel was revealed before everyone’s eyes.
Not the slightly bloated, obese bulk that Hank had.
This was pure, extreme, almost inconceivably powerful muscle!
His inverted-triangle torso was so broad it almost seemed unreal, like a thick city wall. Two massive pectoral muscles rose like giant shields, high and sharply defined. His abdominal muscles looked like iron plates arranged in rows. Especially those two muscular arms—thicker than an average adult man’s thighs!
He simply stood there quietly. No need for roars or dramatic poses. Just by revealing his body, he embodied what absolute power meant, what a human tank was—all those exaggerated terms!
Before him, the previously imposing, mountain-like Steamroller Hank seemed small.
Hank swore this was the first time in his life he’d had to tilt his head back so far to see his opponent’s face while standing in the cage.
Beyond that, a biological instinctive fear of a more powerful being welled up in his heart…
The gym fell into deathly silence that lasted a full four or five seconds.
Then, those gang spectators could no longer contain themselves and erupted once more!
“HOlymOtherOfgOd!”
“God Almighty! What am I seeing? Is that even human?!”
“A giant! That’s a fucking Eastern giant!”
“After the Black and White Fiends, now we’ve got a Hell’s Giant?”
“Those muscles, that build—am I dreaming? Dreaming of a giant scene from a movie?”
“Hank doesn’t seem so big anymore?”
“Yeah! Look at those arms, those hands—Hank’s bear paws look like toys compared to his!”
“Where did Jess find these monsters? Each one scarier than the last!”
“This match is fucking over!”
“Rossi is screwed!”
“…”
As it turned out, smiles don’t just vanish into thin air—they simply transfer from one person’s face to another’s in an instant.
The smile that had been maniacally plastered on Rossi’s face gradually transferred to Jess’s face as this Eastern giant appeared.
“Hahaha! Uncle, look! This is great-grandmother’s trump card, Hell’s Giant! Let’s see you handle this!”
Hearing his nephew Jess’s loud laughter, Rossi didn’t even have the heart to retort. He just stared at this Eastern giant with a gloomy face, comforting himself that the opponent was just big—perhaps all show and no substance, only good for intimidation.
Now he was completely trapped. If he lost this round, he wouldn’t be able to pay his debts, and selling his ass wouldn’t even cover what he owed.
Most crucially, his nephew Jess would never give him another chance to turn things around. What awaited him would be complete liquidation within the family.
He could only place his last hope on Hank.
“Hank! Give it everything you’ve got! This big guy just looks scary! He has no fight experience. His technique and stamina can’t match yours! Take him down! You’re the strongest!”
Hank, below, heard his boss’s shout and finally snapped out of the enormous psychological impact of Ji Yu’s appearance, nodding toward the second floor.
Ji Yu turned slightly toward Liu Yutong’s direction, bowed his head slightly, and called out: “Young Mistress!”
Liu Yutong immediately gave him instructions: “Ji Yu, end the fight quickly, and don’t kill him.”
She wanted the fight ended quickly because she didn’t want to see Ji Yu injured. No killing was to avoid risk.
Ji Yu’s face showed confusion.
The Young Mistress said to end it quickly, but also not to kill him—didn’t that seem contradictory?
Ending it quickly meant using full force, but not killing him meant he couldn’t use full force…
He scratched his large head with his hand and began using his times tables to calculate force.
“One times one is one, one times two is two… three times nine is twenty-eight…”
Seeing this, Yun Cheng shouted: “Ji Yu, what the Young Mistress means is, let him meet his great-grandmother! But don’t actually send him to keep his great-grandmother company, understand?”
Ji Yu’s eyes lit up, his face showing sudden understanding. He nodded his massive head vigorously. “Got it, Brother Yun! I understand!”
Liu Yutong: “…”
Wait, had her explanation just been too complicated?
