Chapter 510: The Three Women Whose Aura Changed Completely

“These guys mean trouble!”

Yu Xin’s eyes sparkled with excitement—not a trace of fear, only eagerness.

Liu Yutong pulled out a tissue and dabbed the corner of her mouth, looking completely unconcerned by the dozen-odd people facing them.

Lan Die likewise brushed her fingers against the dagger hidden in her cuff, ready to move at any moment.

Su Mansu, however, was getting nervous. They only had four girls on their side, while the other side—Hawk’s foreigners plus seven or eight tattooed thugs—numbered over a dozen. In a real fight, they were clearly outmatched.

What surprised her most was how quickly Hawk and his crew had gotten out of jail.

Liu Yutong and the others also found it odd. They’d probably bailed themselves out—normally they’d be held for at least a few days. Or maybe they’d used their foreigner status to get special treatment.

But rushing for revenge so soon after getting out seemed impulsive. Were all foreigners this petty?

Su Mansu’s heart raced faster. Taking a deep breath, she steeled herself and stepped forward, arms spread wide to block the three women behind her.

“Boss, this is all my fault. I can’t let you get involved. You three go—I’ll… I’ll hold them off. I’m a university professor, they won’t dare hurt me…”

Before Su Mansu could finish, she heard the sound of shoes dropping behind her.

She glanced back to see Liu Yutong slipping off her black stiletto heels and carelessly tossing them aside. Yu Xin followed suit, and somehow produced an extendable baton, snapping it open with a sharp flick.

But Lan Die was the most dramatic of all.

Lan Die silently gathered her long hair and, with a single chopstick, twisted it into a sleek bun. Then, as if by magic, she produced two daggers in one hand, her eyes turning ice-cold with a faint, almost imperceptible murderous aura.

In that instant, the three women’s presence transformed completely. Gone was any hint of student or corporate executive, replaced by the raw aura of seasoned female enforcers ready for battle.

The stark contrast left her dumbfounded. Compared with the approaching thugs, she felt like a naive bystander who’d wandered into the middle of a gang shootout.

Liu Yutong flashed her a smile. “Mansu, relax. This will be over quickly.”

Yu Xin: “Yeah, Mansu, just stay behind us and watch. This is nothing to worry about.”

Su Mansu: “…….”

That’s more like it!

Suddenly, everything clicked!

What happened to the legitimate corporation we were supposed to be?

Your presence, your battle-ready response—you look even more professional than the thugs over there.

“It’s them! Fuck! It’s these bitches who made me lose face.” Hawk pointed at Liu Yutong and her companions, speaking in broken Dragon to the grease-covered man with the thick gold chain at the front.

The man chewed on a toothpick, his eyes sweeping across Liu Yutong, Yu Xin, and the others, grinning to reveal a mouthful of yellowed teeth.

“Young Master Hawk, you got handled by these delicate little things? You foreigners are pathetic! But I must say… these girls are quite the lookers.”

“Oh ho ho,” he jeered. “Took off your shoes, have you? Planning to fight us?”

“Hahaha…”

The thugs behind him erupted in laughter, clearly amused by the girls’ lack of self-awareness.

“Clear out! All of you, get the hell out of here!”

“……”

The food stall owner and diners quickly scattered, fearing they’d be caught in the crossfire.

A showdown was imminent.

Liu Yutong turned to Hawk. “What, the lesson from earlier didn’t sink in?”

Hawk laughed recklessly. “Fuck! There were cops around earlier, but who’s gonna help you now? You made me lose face—if you don’t kneel and beg me today, my name isn’t Hawk!”

“Oh?”

Liu Yutong arched an eyebrow. “On Chinese soil, you dare come looking for trouble? You clearly don’t know how cruel this world can be.”

“And the rest of you—sure you want to stick your necks out for him? Scram now and I’ll let you off easy. Otherwise, suffer the consequences.”

Her words were spoken lightly, yet carried an inexplicable chill.

The burly leader, fuming at Liu Yutong’s words, stepped forward and pointed a steel pipe at her. “Little bitch, you’re pretty cocky! I’m not one to be intimidated. Apologize to our Young Master Hawk nice and proper, then have a few drinks with the boys, and we’ll call it even. Otherwise…”

He left it hanging, but the threat was unmistakable.

“Otherwise what?” Liu Yutong prompted.

Lan Die, who’d been virtually invisible until now, suddenly locked eyes with the leader, her gaze radiating pure murder—as if she were looking at a dead man.

The bald leader felt a sudden chill from Lan Die’s stare, but with his numbers and facing only a few delicate women, he brushed it off. “Otherwise, don’t blame us for not showing mercy to the fairer sex!”

Pfft!

The leader’s threatening smirk froze mid-sentence. He slowly looked down at his left shoulder.

A finely crafted dagger had mysteriously appeared there, its blade buried deep in his deltoid, only the black hilt quivering slightly.

Weirdly, the wound didn’t bleed right away—he barely felt anything.

“Hmm?”

“What is it?”

The thugs beside him froze, then one instinctively reached out to feel it.

“Boss, it’s a knife. Looks like it’s stuck in there.”

Then, without thinking, the lackey grabbed the hilt and yanked it out.

Burly boss: “???”

He stared dumbfounded at the small hole in his shoulder that had suddenly started gushing blood, then at the bloodied dagger in his lackey’s hand. His brain seemed to short-circuit for a moment.

Then a bloodcurdling scream erupted.

“Argh! Argh! Argh!”

“My arm! My fucking arm! I’m dying here!”

“You moron! Who told you to pull it out?!”

“Sorry! Sorry, boss! I’ll put it right back!”

“Hey… don’t!”

The leader tried to stop him, but too late.

Pfft!

The yellow-haired lackey expertly plunged the dagger back in along the same path, even pressing down to make sure it stayed put.

Time seemed to stand still.

The leader’s face contorted from pain to disbelief to utter devastation. He looked down at the dagger now lodged even deeper in his shoulder, then at his lackey, and completely lost it.

“You’re fucking dead to me!” he roared, kicking the lackey to the ground. “I don’t have brothers that fucking stupid!”

The lackey scrambled up, wincing, and whined to another stunned accomplice, “Brother Three, why’s the boss even madder? I put it back in for him!”

Third Brother’s mouth twitched uncontrollably as he quietly distanced himself from this moron.

The boss was right. This idiot’s a liability. Keeping him around would be asking for trouble!
