Chapter 508: Another Confrontation

“It’s her! She’s been staring at me the whole time, making eyes at me, deliberately spilled her coffee to get close to us, and now she’s claiming we harassed her? This is absurd!”

Several foreign students who had been working out with Hawk chimed in as well.

“That’s right, Hawk. We all saw it.”

“That girl was definitely checking you out.”

“She was trying to get your attention, wasn’t she?”

They echoed each other, distorting the facts, trying to paint Fang Yaqiong as a scheming girl who had attempted to seduce them and, when unsuccessful, resorted to false accusations.

Fang Yaqiong’s entire body trembled with anger. “You’re lying! You bumped into me and groped me!”

“Where’s your proof?”

Hawk spread his hands, putting on an expression that was both innocent and arrogant. “Don’t you Eastern girls just love guys like us? If you wanted to hit on us, you could’ve just said so. Why play these games?”

His words were deliberately inflammatory and insulting.

Some students in the crowd, either ignorant of the facts or harboring their own biases, began whispering and pointing at Fang Yaqiong.

“Some girls these days really have no shame.”

“That desperate to land a foreigner?”

“This is so embarrassing…”

“…”

Isolated and without support, Fang Yaqiong faced the judgmental crowd and Hawk’s smug group. Tears of injustice instantly welled up in her eyes.

Just then, a woman in her twenties wearing black-framed glasses walked over.

She was exactly the Teacher Su—Su Mansu—that Yu Xin and Liu Yutong had been waiting for.

She had just arrived at their meeting spot when she witnessed this scene. Hearing Hawk’s outrageous words, she couldn’t help but frown deeply.

Su Mansu was infamous at the university—a brilliant but uncompromising teacher known for her righteous hatred of evil.

Whenever she encountered injustice, she never stood idly by, even when she knew it would bring trouble.

Some said she didn’t know how to be flexible, that she was too naive. But those who knew her understood that this was simply Su Mansu: an upright idealist.

In her mind, right was right and wrong was wrong—there were no gray areas.

Spotting the tearful Fang Yaqiong, Su Mansu went straight up to Hawk’s group and demanded in fluent English, “What’s going on here? Why are you bullying people?”

“Which school are you from? What are your names?!”

Hawk clearly didn’t take Su Mansu seriously. He answered with casual insolence, “Who are you? That’s a bit much, don’t you think? And you need to get your facts straight—she’s the one who harassed us. How does that make us the bullies?”

Suppressing her fury, Su Mansu demanded again, “Which school are you from? What are your names? You look like exchange students, correct? With such misconduct, I will definitely report you to your school, have you put on record, and revoke your exchange qualifications!”

“‘Put on record’? ‘Revoke qualifications’? Hahahahaha….”

Hawk and his friends acted as if they’d heard the funniest joke in the world.

“Who are you trying to scare? We’re exchange students from South City University. If you’ve got the guts, go ahead and report us!”

“Who knows where this wild girl came from, but she really thinks she’s somebody.”

When Su Mansu heard they were actually exchange students from her own university, her expression darkened immediately.

Just then.

A slightly portly middle-aged man who happened to be passing by hurried over upon hearing the commotion. He was a minor administrator at Su Mansu’s university.

“What’s all this? What’s with all this shouting and racket!”

Su Mansu clearly recognized him and immediately stepped forward to give a concise account of the situation, emphasizing Hawk’s group’s vile attitudes and the need for severe disciplinary action.

The administrator looked at Hawk’s group, then at the isolated Fang Yaqiong, and showed a troubled expression. He pulled Su Mansu aside.

“Teacher Su, please consider the bigger picture here. These international exchange students are tied to our school’s international reputation and cooperative programs. Without solid evidence, we shouldn’t jump to conclusions, and we definitely shouldn’t go throwing around threats of putting them on record or canceling their qualifications. Let’s just let this go, alright?”

“‘Let it go’? This is assault and slander! How can we just let it go?!”

Su Mansu never imagined that a university administrator would take such a wishy-washy stance, even showing favoritism toward the foreign students. She became even more furious.

“Fine. Since you won’t handle it, I’ll call the police, and I’ll submit a formal complaint to the university’s disciplinary committee. I believe the truth doesn’t change just because a few foreigners are involved.”

“Are you crazy? Do you have any idea how much damage this could do to the university? You need to remember you’re also a teacher at South City University. Have you considered the consequences?”

“I’ll bear whatever consequences come!”

Su Mansu’s attitude was unyielding. “And let me tell you, the bad publicity won’t be caused by the victim, but by people like you who enable this kind of behavior!”

“You—”

“Well said!”

Before the administrator could finish, a clear, cold female voice came from the entrance.

Everyone turned to look.

Three young women with outstanding physiques and presence stood at the door.

It was Liu Yutong’s group.

Liu Yutong glanced calmly at the administrator, then at Su Mansu, a slight smile on her lips.

“Teacher Su is absolutely right. Upholding justice should never be seen as making trouble. The real trouble comes from enabling evil and the inaction that leaves victims out in the cold.”

Perhaps due to the powerful aura she exuded, the gossiping students immediately fell silent.

Seeing Liu Yutong’s group again, Hawk became furious. Feeling emboldened by the administrator’s presence, his arrogance flared up once more.

“This is none of your business! Fuck off!”

As he spoke, he impulsively stepped forward, seemingly to push Liu Yutong.

The moment he raised his arm.

The silent Lan Die moved.

Her movements were extremely fast.

Just before Hawk’s hand could touch Liu Yutong, Lan Die darted forward to position herself between them.

To onlookers, it appeared as if Hawk had roughly tried to push Liu Yutong, and Lan Die had been forced to step in to protect her.

But the result was…

Thud!

A dull impact.

Lan Die’s elbow struck Hawk’s arm’s pressure point with precision and force, while simultaneously extending her foot slightly to trip him.

“Argh!”

Hawk cried out, his entire arm instantly going numb and weak. Then his massive body lost balance and slammed heavily to the floor, his chin hitting the tiles as he wailed in pain.

Having accomplished all this, Lan Die deliberately staggered backward several steps, caught just in time by Yu Xin.

She looked as if she had been bumped into and startled.

“Hawk!”

“Are you okay?”

His companions cried out, rushing to help him up.

Yu Xin immediately went into full drama mode, supporting Lan Die while shouting angrily at the groaning Hawk and his friends.

“Everyone saw that, right? He first harassed Student Fang, and then tried to lay hands on us girls, committing assault in public! Is this what these so-called international exchange students are like? Are you all just going to stand by and watch foreigners bully us?!”

At these words, the situation completely turned in their favor.

The watching students had witnessed Hawk’s attempted assault and subsequent fall. As far as they could tell, he had attacked unprovoked and Lan Die had merely tried to protect the others. Now seeing that the girls had nearly been assaulted, the crowd was outraged.

“Holy shit! This foreigner’s trying to pull a scam?”

“Exactly! That girl didn’t even move, and he ate shit all by himself!”

“These foreigners are completely lawless!”

“Daring to hit our Chinese girls in front of everyone. So arrogant!”

“Get out of our school! Get out of China!”

“………”

Public anger surged, all fingers pointing at Hawk’s group.

The administrator’s face turned completely dark.

This time, it had happened in full view of everyone. The evidence was clear—at least from their perspective. He couldn’t find any excuse to smooth things over.
